Every child deserves access to a safe, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment. Friends of Grace Warner Elementary School Alliance works to enhance educational opportunities by supporting school improvement projects, classroom enrichment, and community partnerships that benefit students, teachers, and families. By investing in our schools today, we help create opportunities for academic success, personal growth, and a stronger future for our entire community.
The Alliance is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds and providing support to Grace Warner Elementary and, as resources permit, to other Title I schools within the Washoe County School District. We aim to enhance educational opportunities at Grace Warner by building the charitable support and community partnerships needed to provide students with the same enriching experiences, educational resources, and campus enhancements available at other schools throughout the district that benefit from well-established funding sources.
Initiatives
The Alliance is committed to supporting projects and opportunities that strengthen Grace Warner Elementary School and benefit its students and staff. The initiatives below reflect key areas where we will focus our efforts and support.
Enhancing Spaces
We work to raise funds and support efforts to develop welcoming school environments where students can explore, learn, and grow. These enriching spaces encourage curiosity, foster a sense of connection and belonging, and help cultivate a lifelong appreciation for learning.
Teacher Resources
We value the dedication of Grace Warner's educators and will seek opportunities to support their efforts by helping provide resources that enhance learning and enrich the classroom experience.
Extracurricular Programs
In addition to our efforts to enhance the school environment and support classroom resources, we hope to be able to help expand opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities that foster personal growth, and meaningful connections.
